Athletickle creates and stores your training on your device. Learn what stays local, what needs a connection, and how Discord fits in.
Your training plan should be yours. Athletickle generates programs on your phone and stores your programs, workout logs and settings locally. You do not need an Athletickle account.
What stays on your device
The programming engine runs locally. We do not operate a training-data backend that receives your programs or workout logs. You can follow your saved training without uploading your sessions to us.
Local storage also has a tradeoff: there is no cloud backup or cross-device sync. Exporting a program lets you share its text; it is not a restorable backup of the app.
What still needs a connection
Exercise demonstrations open external video links. Those providers handle your visit under their own policies. Store purchases and subscription checks also need connectivity; premium access has a three-day offline grace period.
Subscriptions run through Apple or Google. Payment details are handled by the store, not by an Athletickle payment form.
The website and Discord are separate
The website uses Glyphex for cookieless analytics. It helps us understand visits to the public site; it is not a feed of your app workout history. See our Privacy Policy for the current details.
Discord is our community and beta communication channel. Joining is separate from using an app. If you choose to post a screenshot, a training log or feedback there, you are sharing it with that audience under Discord’s policies. Only share what you want others to see.
